Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing perforated lace which is high in decorativeness and allows a hole to be freely provided at any position.SOLUTION: A cross-over yarn 3 for forming a hole is knitted alternately between hole-forming object wales Wh and Wh which are a pair of wales located within both side edges in a width direction and adjacent to each other. At the same time, in a hole-forming object portion 20 in a lace knitting direction D2 between the hole-forming object wales Wh and Wh, weft yarns FW and BW are retained on either one wale of the hole-forming object wales Wh and Wh. In only portions 21 other than the hole-forming object portion, there are provided weft yarn-knitted portions 22 where the weft yarns FW and BW are knitted between the hole-forming object wales Wh and Wh, and there are provided pattern yarn-knitted portions 23 where pattern yarns 8 and 9 are knitted between the hole-forming object wales Wh and Wh. Thus, a knitting process is carried out. Then, after lace obtained is subjected to treatment such as dyeing, the cross-over yarn 3 for forming the hole is removed from a treated knitted fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
