Abstract:
To avoid poor hardening of a thermoplastic adhesive in producing a molded product.
The method for manufacturing a molding comprises charging a molding material containing a large number of particles and a thermoplastic adhesive into a specified mold, introducing heated steam into the mold to heat and melt the thermoplastic adhesive and hardening by cooling to mold the molding material into a molded product in a predetermined shape. The molding material used has such a content of the thermoplastic adhesive that the amount of nonvolatile ingredients in the thermoplastic adhesive is smaller than the amount of the thermoplastic adhesive covering all the surfaces of the particles contained in the molded product after molding.
