Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to surely perform a 'cigarette case type' pleat processing with a simple device and in simple operations.
SOLUTION: This method for producing a paper pattern for pleat processing, comprises forming such parallel plural linear creases as shown in Figure 1 (a) on a craft paper sheet in a pattern shown in Figure 1 (b), extending the craft paper sheet into the original shape, successively adhering plural preliminarily prepared columnar polyurethane members 2 to the back side of the craft paper sheet along the creases, respectively, allowing the adjacent creases of the craft paper sheet to approach each other to curve the portions between the creases, nipping the polyurethane members 2 in the curved portions, heating the combination with steam to produce the first paper pattern having the columnar polyurethane members adhered thereto, staking other craft paper sheets having the same creases on the first paper pattern so that the creases of the other craft paper sheets match to the creases of the first paper pattern, allowing the adjacent creases of the craft paper sheets to approach each other to curve the portions between the creases, nipping the polyurethane members 2 in the curved potions, and steaming the combination in the nipping state to produce the second paper pattern.
