Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a woven fabric free of bright specks or single filament breakage defects, using PTT yarns as wefts.
The method comprises weaving a fabric comprising polytrimethylene terephthalate yarns at least as wefts using a water jet loom. In this method, it is characterized by that the instantaneous maximum tension during the flying travel of the weft is set at a level lower than the elastic limit tension of the weft.
