Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a novel porous slender body such as a porous metallic fine wire, and a novel porous fine wire.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a metallic or ceramic porous slender body with a thickness of 2 mm or lower, comprising: a step where a slurry obtained by dispersing metal powder or ceramic powder, and, if required, powder for a space holder into a sodium alginate aqueous solution is extruded through a nozzle into a divalent cation-containing aqueous solution such as a calcium chloride aqueous solution and a magnesium chloride aqueous solution to mold a slender precursor; a step where the slender precursor is subjected to drying-degreasing treatment; and a step where the slender precursor subjected to the drying-degreasing treatment is sintered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
