Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for producing a recycled fiber from a mixture of a fiber and a highly water-absorbing polymer.SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with a treatment tank 31 having a supply port 32 and an exhaust port 33, and a feed pump 21 connected with the supply port of the treatment tank via a piping. The apparatus is configured in a manner that, by using the feed pump, a mixed liquid 51 containing a fiber involving a highly water-absorbing polymer and a water is supplied continuously at a first flow rate into the treatment tank containing a treatment liquid 52 capable of dissolving the highly water-absorbing polymer via the supply port while a treatment liquid containing the fiber with the highly water-absorbing polymer having been dissolved and removed away is discharged continuously at a second flow rate to the outside of the treatment tank via the exhaust port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
