Abstract:
To provide a method for continuously recovering crystals over a long period from a slurry with a rotary vacuum filter without causing the clogging of the filter medium.
A slurry composed of crystals and a solvent is supplied to a rotary vacuum filter and a cylindrical filter medium is rotated to continuously perform the suction filtration, the washing, the suction filtration and the peeling of the cake. In the above process, vapor of the solvent component is supplied to a blowing gas for the peeling of the cake.
