Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for reducing a pixel density along the plural axes of multi-dimensional images capable of reducing the pixel density and improving a printing processing amount while reducing manual constitution objects entering printing output as much as possible.
CONSTITUTION: The pixels of a two-dimensional printing medium are arrayed in rows and columns as a linear array, the row corresponds to a carriage scanning axis and the column corresponds to a medium scanning axis. The reduction of the raster data of the carriage scanning axis is started from a second pixel from the left, the pixel provided with an ON pixel is removed to the left, respective printing pixels P (R, C) are separated for at least one pixel from the other printing pixels in the respective rows of the pixels and the printing pixels present in the same row are prevented from being directly adjacent.
