Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating treatment, with which a used product of a heat-resistant high-performance spun yarn such as wholly aromatic polyamide fiber, etc., is reused especially as a yarn and to obtain a regenerated heat-resistant high-performance spun yarn produced by the regenerating method.
SOLUTION: The method for regenerating a used product of heat-resistant high-performance spun yarn comprises washing a used product of a heat-resistant high-performance spun yarn in advance as desired, then subjecting it to shredding, opening the resulting shredded mass into a cotton-like material and spinning such cotton-like material into a yarn. The regenerated heat-resistant high-performance spun yarn is obtained by the regenerating method.
