Abstract:

To ensure uniform and optimum fabric quality in individual looms differing in structure from each other when the same fabrics in particular are to be woven by these looms through designing regulation peculiar to the fabric far reasonably and inexpensively.

The objective method for regulating looms comprises the following procedure: fabric-specific regulation data on the relevant fabric for a loom unit involved with weaving process are first detected in a sample loom, machine- specific data characterizing the respective structures of the sample loom and a to-be-regulated loom of another structure are detected and memorized, next, based on the comparison of the machine-specific data on the sample loom the to-be-regulated loom, the fabric-specific regulation data detected in the sample loom are processed according to a relevant program into the fabric-specific regulation data on the to-be-regulated loom, from which a control instruction on the operation panel for the unit involved with the weaving process for the to-be-regulated loom is derived.
