Abstract:
To provide a method for screening a substance used for preventing and/or treating peri-implantitis, and to provide a composition for preventing and/or treating peri-implantitis.SOLUTION: A therapeutic agent for peri-implantitis was screened using a collagen gel containing a peri-implantitis-derived fibroblast and a three-dimensional culture system model of peri-implantitis in which gingival epithelial cells are seeded on the collagen gel. As a result, it was suggested that Keishigomotsuto, Cinnamon Bark, and Polygala Root suppress collagen degradation ability and are effective in the treatment of peri-implantitis. Furthermore, as a result of analyzing crude drug ingredients, it was revealed that hydroxycinnamic acid has an effect of suppressing collagen degradation ability of peri-implantitis-derived fibroblast.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
