Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method of a three-dimensional bending work by which the interference between a three-dimensional base stock and equipment and obstacles is checked by performing beforehand simulation without actually performing bending work.
SOLUTION: In this simulation method of the three-dimensional bending work of a base stock, the interference between the base stock to be bent and the side of the equipment or the like is checked by performing the simulation of the bending work by calculating a working information and the operation information of the equipment such as a bending angle, feed length and a tilting angle from the shape data of a three-dimensional product model and adding the amount of correction determined from the physical properties of the base stock and the amount of correction based on mechanical difference of the equipment of bending equipment to the informations.
