To realize a method and a device for facilitating at least either work for storing trays 8, 8 in a returnable container 17 in a parts factory or work for taking out the trays 8, 8 from the container 17 in an assembly factory.
In a parts factory, the returnable container 17 is placed on an auxiliary tool 18 and each of the trays 8, 8 is placed on the top end face of each of the push-up rods 25, 25 in a condition where the rods 25, 25 are protruded. Then, the container 17 is pulled up and at the same time the rods 25, 25 are pulled out, the trays 8, 8 are stored in the container 17 to be transported to an assembly factory. At the assembly factory, the work is done in the opposite procedure from that done in the parts factory for taking out the trays 8, 8 from the container 17.
