Abstract:

To dispense with phase shift, by enabling a plurality of electronic devices to severally generate triangular waves and enabling them to synchronize those triangular wave signals with each another, having specified phase differences, in a method of synchronizing the phases of the triangular wave signals and its system.

This system generates a triangular wave signal BCTb for slave which changes between an upper level Vh and a lower level Vl by charging or discharging a capacitor. Then, this generates a detection signal DP1, when the level of a triangular wave signal BCTa for master reaches a specified level Vth. This makes the capacitor to quickly discharge so that the triangular wave signal BCTb for slave comes to the lower limit level Vl, according to this detection signal. As a result, the triangular wave signal BCTb is synchronized for slave with respect to the triangular wave signal BCTa for master so that it has a specified phase difference.
