To provide a method for treating the surface of a resin molded article by which fine particles of a transition metal is formed on the surface of the resin molded article comprising a silicon-containing polymer as a main component, and a treated product, and to provide a method for forming a conductor layer, a metal-plated layer, a wiring pattern or the like in a fine shape on the surface of a resin molded article formed on the surface of a material in an optional material and a shape, and a treated product.
The method for treating the surface of the resin molded article includes bringing the resin molded article comprising a resin composition containing a specific silicon-containing compound (A) having a group containing a multiple bond, and a silicon-containing polymer (B) into contact with a solution or a suspension of a transition metal salt to form fine particles of the transition metal on the resin molded article.
