Abstract:
To inexpensively provide a wood-chopping machine and provide safety by solving the problems that: (1) the currently and commercially available wood-chopping machine requires a power source for chopping raw wood, and a hydraulic device or a self-traveling device, and is very expensive due to a large number of components; and (2) since a wood-chopping lever is operated in a state where an operator himself/herself tends to manually fix the raw wood to a placement part during chopping, there is a risk that his/her hand is carelessly pinched by a movable part and get injured.SOLUTION: A wood-chopping machine is characterized in that: (1) it is manufactured at low cost because it is used by being attached to a mini-backhoe and only requires the minimum number of components (body, backing plate, clog, and lever), and also it is easily moved because it is integrated with the mini-backhoe; and (2) the operator needs to get close to the lever via movement of one walk step when placing raw wood on a placement part and operating the wood-chopping lever, and thus the body of the operator is away from a movable part by this movement, thereby being able to avoid a contact accident.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
