PURPOSE: To improve collecting effect largely without re-dispersing mists collected by a mechanism wherein the collector for mists in air is formed by further combining a plurality of bodies unified by fixing a plurality of mist collecting plates to collecting plate cases.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of mist collecting plates 12 are unified by combining a collecting plate case 15 and a beam member 16. The three units are mounted to a support 18 in the up-down direction. An air current containing mists 13 is let collide with the mist collecting plates 12 from the A direction, the mists 13 are collected by means of the collecting plates 12, and the mists 13 cohere and are changed into liquid-drops, flow down along the collecting plates 12 and are received to the collecting trough portions 15A of the collecting plate cases 15. The water received flows in the collecting trough portions 15A, and is recovered into a water tank 14. Since a plurality of collecting plate units are combined, waterdrops once collected are collected by means of the next unit even when the waterdrops are dispersed by the air current, thus ensuring extremely excellent collecting efficiency.
