Abstract:
To provide mixed disulfide conjugates of thienopyridine compounds, and their use as therapeutics for the treatment, amelioration and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.SOLUTION: There is provided a compound for use in a method of treating, ameliorating or preventing a cardiovascular disease in a patient, where the treatment, amelioration or prevention comprises administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of the compound or a pharmaceutical composition, where the administration is selected from the group consisting of oral administration and intravenous administration, where the cardiovascular disease is selected from the group consisting of coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, atherothrombosis and cerebrovascular disease, and where the compound is included in compounds of chemical formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt form of them.SELECTED DRAWING: None
