To obtain mixed edible oil having suppressed cooked odor, improved resistance to oxidation, capable of obtaining fried foods having long lasting preferable flavor and palatability by including a specific rape seed oil and palm oil.
This mixed edible oil includes (A) the rape seed oil obtained from the rape seed such as rape seed Canola 46A40 belonging to genus Canola or the like, including 70-85 wt.% of oleic acid, 0.5-5% of linolenic acid and 1-5% of palmitic acid as the total fatty acid composition and (B) the palm oil selected from palm oil, palm olein, palm super olein and palm mid fraction(PMF). The mixing ratio of the component (A) and (B) is 10/90-90/10 (weight ratio) and fried foods such as potato chips, fried rice confectionery, donut or the like are preferably prepared by using this mixed oil.
