Title:
MOLDING DIE FOR HIGH STRENGTH CEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63268524
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the transferring property and durability of a die by forming the die out of high strength cement and forming a metallic layer to required thickness at least at part of a thin surface layer.

CONSTITUTION: After surface lubricant is sprayed on a plaster master 1 iron frames 2 are set to manufacture a male die 4 and a blank holder 5. Then, said kneaded material 3 made of high strength cement is cast into the die and after it is subjected to wet air curing it is cured to form the male die 4. In addition, the surface of the male die 4 is coated with a specified thickness of sheet wax 6, said kneaded material 3 is cast into the die, and the molding dies 4, 9 are removed and cured. Then, after a backing resin layer 10 is formed on the rear sides of both dies 4, 9, metallic layers 11 such as copper plate, etc., are fixed and adhered with adhesives on the surfaces of the dies 4, 9. The thickness of the metallic layers 11 is regulated within 0.05W0.5mm. Since the metallic layer is formed on the surface, the transferring property and the durability of the dies 4, 9 are improved.
