Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal supply device capable of preventing coagulation of molten metal and heat shock breaking of a duct without having a heater, and capable of also efficiently cooling an inductor without having a cooler.SOLUTION: A molten metal supply device is a molten metal supply device comprising an inductor 44 in a duct 31, and supplying molten metal 42 by imparting thrust to the molten metal 42 in the duct 31 by pumping up the molten metal 42 stored in a molten metal tank into the duct 31 by this inductor 44. The inductor 44 is stored in a protective pipe 33 installed inside the duct 31, and an upper end part of the inductor 44 is arranged in a higher position than a connection port 41 between the duct 31 and a molten metal supply side gutter 43, and a lower end part of the inductor 44 is arranged in a lower position than a liquid level of the molten metal 42 stored in the molten metal tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
