Title:
MOTION SENSING MECHANISM FOR CAR BRAKE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03159887
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts used by installing a sensing switch formed in a unit so as to block an opening for insertion of a driving rod of a master cylinder, which belongs to an operation sensing mechanism for a motorcycle, supporting the driving rod by one end within the case of the switch, and extending the rod to a brake operational member.

CONSTITUTION: A case body 31 of a brake switch 20 is installed at a bottom opening 30c of the body 14c of master cylinder, and thus the opening 30c is blocked. With a certain gap reserved, a driving rod 13b is inserted in a through hole 31d formed in the inner cylinder 31b of the case body 31, and is supported while the top 13c of the rod 13b is in contact with the oversurface edge of a protrusion 31c on the mentioned inner cylinder 31b. The other end of the driving rod 13b is coupled with a brake pedal 12 through a metal fixture 13a.
