Title:
MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3814061
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control circuit for a multipole brush motor which protects a semiconductor element from a short circuit current when stopping a motor and, at the same time, can realize soft stopping, by relieving the brak ing force applied to the motor at the time of short-circuiting.
SOLUTION: A motor control circuit which controls the rotating speed of a motor is constituted of a four-pole motor 1, a rotating speed detecting circuit 2 which detects the rotation of the motor l as a pulse, an F/V conversion circuit 3 which converts the rotational pulse of the motor 1 into a voltage, a rotating speed setting circuit 4 which sets the rotating speed of the motor 1, a comparator and control circuit 5 which outputs an output by comparing the outputs of the circuits 4 and 3 with each other, an intermitting means 6 which controls the turning on/off of the negative pole of the motor 1 in accordance with the output of the circuit 5, and a diode 7 connected to the means 6 and a ground. The control circuit is constituted so that the circuit may make the electric current flow to the ground side through the diode 7 connected in series between a semiconductor element and the ground.
