PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device that prevents the occurrence of run-away of a motor.SOLUTION: A motor control device according to the present embodiment is the motor control device that controls the drive or stop of a motor, and includes: counting means for performing count-up or count-down from a preset initial value over the lapse of time on the basis of an operation start instruction to a motor; signal output means for outputting a first state signal on the basis of the operation start instruction and outputting a second state signal when a result of counting by the counting means does not satisfy a predetermined range; and driving means for outputting an on signal when the first state signal is input and outputting an off signal when the second state signal is input.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
