Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a required time from a brake operation to a motor stop by adequately operating a brake to a motor.SOLUTION: A motor control device has a motor control circuit (14) driving a motor (4) by controlling an On/Off operation of a switching element of each phase of an upper arm and a lower arm. The motor control circuit drives a plurality of motors mechanically connected so as to drive in parallel, turns all of the switching elements of each phase of one of the upper arm and the lower arm on, generates brake current by shorting between terminals of each phase of a plurality of motors, limits the brake current flowing along the plurality of motors to an individual current limit value by a control of the On/Off operation of the switching element, sets the current limit value to a second current limit value lower than a first current limit value at which a brake torque becomes maximum, and corrects the individual current limit value of each motor on the basis of an actual value of the brake current flowing along the plurality of motors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
