Abstract:

To provide a motor control device capable of discharging the charges accumulated in a capacitor without installing a discharging resistor or an additional circuit for discharging, and to provide a vehicle system.

The motor control device has a structure in which a plurality of arms formed by connecting upper transistors and lower transistors in series are connected in parallel between a power supply and a ground, and is connected to inverters in which intermediate points of the plurality of arms are connected to terminals of each phase of the motor coil. The motor control device controls switching of the upper transistors and the lower transistors to drive the motor. The motor control device has a discharging function for causing the motor coil to consume the charges accumulated in a capacitor disposed between the power supply and a ground by turning on each combination having the upper transistor and the lower transistor which are activated while being disconnected from the battery and disposed in the different arms.
