Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device which can stop a movable body, driven by a DC motor, at an intended stop position.SOLUTION: A motor control device 1 includes: a drive signal generator unit 14 which outputs a drive signal according to a running torque generated by a DC motor 2; a speed measuring unit which measures the revolution speed of the DC motor 2, on the basis of a detection signal received from a rotation angle sensor 4 through a sensor interface unit 15; a brake value calculation unit which, based on a designated stop required time and a revolution speed, calculates the brake value of the drive signal to stop the DC motor 2 in the stop required time; a comparison unit which, when the calculated brake value is not larger than the upper limit value of a brake value, determines the brake value to be a use brake value, whereas when the calculated brake value exceeds the upper limit value, determines the upper limit value to be a use brake value; and a stop unit which causes the drive signal generator unit 14 to output the drive signal having the use brake value at least as long as the stop required time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
