Abstract:
To inhibit heat damage to a starter motor caused by heat from a catalyst.SOLUTION: A motor cycle includes: a vehicle body frame 2; an engine 9 supported by the vehicle body frame 2; an exhaust pipe 86 in which exhaust gas exhausted from an exhaust port 60 of the engine 9 flows; a catalyst 81 which is provided within the exhaust pipe 86 and disposed in front of the engine 9; and a starter motor 13 which is provided in front of the engine 9 and starts the engine 9. The vehicle body frame 2 includes a down frame 23 extending downward from a head pipe 21. In a vehicle front view, the starter motor 13 is disposed at one side of the down frame 23 as seen in a lateral direction and the catalyst 81 is disposed at the other side of the down frame 23 as seen in the lateral direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
