Abstract:
To provide a motor drive device capable of performing control for accurately stopping a rotor at a target position by surely and promptly shifting from feedback drive to an open-loop drive.SOLUTION: A motor drive device comprises a feedback (FB) drive circuit 303 and an open-loop (OL) drive circuit 304. The FB drive circuit 303 performs FB drive of a motor 101 by switching electrification of a motor coil in accordance with a position detection signal of a rotor. The OL drive circuit 304 performs OL drive of the motor 101 by switching the electrification of the motor coil in accordance with a predetermined time interval. When stopping the rotor at a target position, a control section 302 performs control in which speed reduction drive is performed by the FB drive, a number N of remaining pulses to the target position at a time point when the rotor reaches a predetermined speed V, the FB drive is switched to the OL drive, a speed is reduced at a speed reduction rate V/N, and the rotor is stopped at the target position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
