Abstract:
To reduce the cost of a motor starter that starts a motor by switching either a star connection or a delta connection to the other.
The motor starter 10 that starts the motor by witching either the star connection or the delta connection to the other comprises an on/off switch 1, and star-connection/delta-connection changeover switches 2A, 2B. The star-connection/delta-connection changeover switches 2A, 2B are momentary switches that automatically return to one of the connection sides. An operating member 8 is arranged that interlocks the on-switching operation of the on/off changeover switch 1 and a changeover operation to the other connection side of the star-connection/delta-connection changeover switches 2A, 2B.
