Abstract:
To provide a motor with a brush capable of securing peeling strength between a cylindrical unit and a resin unit and suppressing generation of brush sliding noise.SOLUTION: A commutator includes a cylindrical unit 36 made of a conductive metal member and an insulating resin unit molded on an inner periphery of the cylindrical unit 36. The cylindrical unit 36 has a riser portion and a brush contact portion. An inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical unit has a plurality of groove units 44 formed of a pair of vertically erected units 43 while extending in an axial direction. The erected unit 43 has a first erected unit 51 having a predetermined height at the riser portion side and a second erected unit 52 having a height smaller than the first erected unit 51 at the brush contact portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
