Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the optical element molding apparatus which is compact, has good transferability and can deal with short molding tact in a molding system by stage division.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary stage RS is provided in a cooling stage in order to hold a mold block 1 still without transporting this block in a region of a specified temp. near the glass transition point of molded parts. As a result, the necessary standstill time is assured even in the cooling stage corresponding to the specified region near the glass transition point even if the stages are finely segmented with the shortening of the tact. The molding apparatus which is compact and has the good transferability is thus obtd.
