An overflow tube 1 includes a tubular body 10 having an oil feed and discharge path 13 which penetrates a bottom 42 of the oil pan 40 of a transmission case 30 and extends from the bottom 42 of the oil pan 40 upward in a vertical direction, a communication hole 14 bringing the oil feed and discharge path 13 into communication with an inside space S of the oil pan 40, and a bolt 20 closing an opening in a lower part of the oil feed and discharge path 13 at the outside of the oil pan 40. A mounting structure of the overflow tube is constructed so that the body 10 is provided on the axis of a bolt 35 fixing a control valve body 50 to the transmission case 30 and an end 11 of the body 10 lying in the space S of the oil pan 40 contacts with the bolt 35.
