Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable body arc collecting method and a movable body side arc collecting device for a practicable non-contact collection system.
SOLUTION: An electrode 11 is mounted on the bottom surface of a magnetic levitation vehicle so as to be opposite to the top surface of a ground conductor 1 and held by a support member 15 at the center of a tapered cylindrical outer casing 13. An air intake 17 used for a forward movement which is opened forward and an air intake 19 used for a backward movement which is opened backward are provided in the bottom surface of the vehicle, and the air intakes 17, 19 are connected to the outer casing 13 by pipes 21, 23. Switching valves 27, 29 are disposed in the front and in the rear of the junction part 25 of the pipes 21, 23. When a train is advanced in the state of generating an arc, air taken in from the air intake 17 used for a forward movement is passed through the pipe 23, guided into an air gap between the outer casing 13 and the electrode 11, and jetted out in a cylindrical form to form an air curtain 33.
