Abstract:

To provide a multilayer multiaxial fabric for a paper machine having a reduced interference pattern and accordingly improved dewatering uniformity.

The multiaxial fabric used for a paper machine includes: an upper layer having multiple interwoven MD yarns and CD yarns; a lower layer having multiple interwoven MD yarns and CD yarns; and a nonwoven layer disposed between the upper layer and the lower layer. The multiaxial fabric used for a paper machine also includes: the upper layer having multiple interwoven MD yarns in a machine direction and CD yarns, which has an inside and outside; and the lower layer having multiple interwoven MD yarns and CD yarns, which has an inside and outside, wherein the insides of the upper and lower layers are flattened by a prescribed technique.
