EXAMPLE: N-(Parachlorophenoxy)acetyl-αβ-dehydrohomoalanine.
USE: An agricultural chemical, a stable auxin hormone type herbicide not providing crops such as rice plant, wheat, barley, etc., with phytotoxicity, having high selectivity, while keeping characteristics of phenoxy herbicide.
PREPARATION: A carboxylic acid or its reactive derivative shown by the formula II (A is OH, halogen or active ester) is reacted with an amino acid derivative shown by the formula III optionally in the presence of a base in water or an organic solvent at ≤ room temperature for 1W12hr, to give a compound shown by the formula I.
