Abstract:
[Problem] To create a NAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase having superior characteristics in aspects other than thermal stability and substrate specificity when used in glucose measurement. [Solution] This NAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase is obtained from microbes that express NAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase; when reacted with glucose using NAD as a coenzyme, specific activity is 450U/mg or greater, and when treated for 3 hours with 1mM EDTA, the remaining activity is 60% or greater.
