Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having high antioxidant activity and to provide an antioxidant, an anticancer agent, a cosmetic and a preventive and/or therapeutic agent for an oxidation stress disease using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a compound represented by formula (1) or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof. In the formula (1), Rrepresents a saturated hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms containing a substituted or unsubstituted, linear, branched or alicyclic structure; Rrepresents a saturated hydrocarbon group having 7 to 13 carbon atoms containing a substituted or unsubstituted, linear, branched or alicyclic structure; and the total number of carbon atoms of Rand Ris 11 to 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
