A color and a pattern desired by a user is selected from artificial nail samples having multiple colors and patterns and an image obtained by synthesizing the data of the sample and the data of the nail, finger and hand of the user detected by the digital video camera 1 is indicated on an image displaying section 2a. As a result, it is possible to confirm the appearance of the artificial nail when it is loaded before printing the color and pattern on the artificial nail. After that, the color and the pattern of the sample finally selected is printed on a colorless artificial nail sold on a market or a seal having a loading section at the rear face.
