The rubber/carbon nanotube composite contains a rubber component and a plurality of carbon nanotubes. In the composite, the carbon nanotubes are oriented in a specified direction, and at least a part of the carbon nanotubes are in contact with each other. Between both ends of the section of the carbon nanotube cut off by two planes arranged at right angles with the orientation direction, the carbon nanotube continues from one end to the other.
