Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable searched data of branch roads to be targeted for searching according to need, and search an optimum route.
SOLUTION: The navigation device includes a route searching processing means 96 for searching a route from a starting point to a destination, a route re-searching processing means 95 for splitting the route searched and re- searching the split route, and a re-searched route determining processing means 97 for determining a re-searched route, based on the searched result by the route re-searching processing means 95. Since a route is re-searched for each split route, based on navigation information, a searched route by re-searching can be an object of route searching processing. An optimum route can therefore be searched.
