Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly accurate circle machining and spherical surface machining by preventing an error occurring during the circle machining and spherical surface machining performed by circular interpolation operations in two orthogonal primary axial directions of a tool rest.SOLUTION: An NC machine tool causes a three-dimensional measuring instrument to measure a circle or a spherical surface of a machined test workpiece and calculates a correction value (a reversal correction value when reversing a moving direction of a tool rest, a diameter correction value for correcting an axial collapse, and the like) to be used only during the circle or spherical surface machining. A workpiece is machined by a machining program of inserting a correction value setup code for describing the calculated correction value and a cancellation code before/after a corresponding arc interpolation code in the machining program.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
