Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net fabric capable of easily expanding the net holes of the net fabric in the lateral direction by the shrinkage of string portions forming the network holes, capable of well holding the expanded state, and having good shape stability.
SOLUTION: Front and back fabrics 1, 2 are formed in a net-like state by a warp knitting method, and the mutually corresponding base portions 11, 21 of the front and back fabrics are linked to each other through connection yarns 3 to make a three-dimensional string portions 4 for forming net holes S. The string portions 4 are allowed to continue in the knitting direction, and the front and back base portions 11, 12 of the string portions 4 are alternately knotted to the right and left adjacent strings 4 for each desired distance to form the net holes S. The string portions 4a at desired positions among the string portions 4 are shrunk in the longitudinal direction, and the other string portions 4 are thereby bent at the knotted points 5 to hold the net holes S in expanded states.
