To provide a Netsuke (ornamental button for suspending a pouch) string having a simple structure and causing neither damage of braid beauty nor detachment of a knot and a fixture from a string body.

The Netsuke string 10 has an annularly continuous narrow string forming a knotting part 13 and a fixing part 15, wherein the annular narrow string passes through the center of a string body braid having a specific length and annularly projects from the the both ends of a braid body 21 to form the knotting part 13 and the fixing part 15 and the both ends of the string body braid are pasted to prevent loosing of the string body braid and to fix the narrow string on the string body braid.
