To provide a new DNA useful for the screening of a preventing, treating or diagnosing agent related to the propagation/differentiation and its functional maintenance of various organs generally, or related to the propagation/differentiation, its functional maintenance or aging of cells such as cancer, autoimmune diseases/allergy, a gene containing such DNA, a new peptide encoded by the DNA, a recombinant protein containing the polypeptide and an antibody against the new polypeptide.
This DNA consists of a base sequence encoding a polypeptide of the following (a) or (b). The (a) is a polypeptide consisting of a part or the whole of the amino acid sequence which is the same as or substantially same as the specific amino acid sequence, and the (b) consists of an amino acid sequence obtained by deleting, substituting or adding a part of the amino acids in the above amino acid sequence, and having a substantially equivalent biological activity.
