Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a succeeding rotor blade from hitting the blade end vortex of a preceding rotor blade by blasting pressurized air in the radial direction of the rotor blade from an air blast nozzle provided at the blade end of the rotor blade so as to blow off the blade end vortex to the outside of the rotating area of the blade end.

CONSTITUTION: Air pressurized by an air pressurization control device disposed in an airframe is led into an air supply passage 3 from an air passage 10 in the rotary shaft 9 of a rotor blade and supplied to the air blast nozzles 6a, 6b of a blade end 4a and a blade end rear edge part 4b so as to be blasted from the blast nozzles 6a, 62b. Blast air from the respective blast nozzles 6a, 6b blows off vortex at the blade end to the outside of a blade end locus. The blade end vortex is not therefore hitted directly by a succeeding rotor blade. An adjusted air supply passage 11 is provided with a blast angle adjusting mechanism 5.
