To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery capable of reducing possibility of occurrence of electrolyte leakage while using a liquid electrolyte, having a large-current discharge characteristic and a low-temperature discharge characteristic similar to those of a nonaqueous secondary battery using only a conventional liquid organic electrolyte, and excelling in a high-temperature resistant storage characteristic and drop impact resistance.
This nonaqueous secondary battery is provided with: an electrode body 11 where a positive electrode and a negative electrode are stacked by interposing a separator and an organic electrolyte is injected inside; an armoring body 12 for housing the electrode body 11; and a polymer 15 hardly compatible with the organic electrolyte and located in a space part between the electrode body 11 and the armoring body 12. For the polymer 15 hardly compatible with the organic electrolyte, 1, 30-triacontane diol acrylate, t-butyl cyclohexyl acrylate, t-butyl cyclohexyl methacrylate, isobornyl acrylate, isobornyl methacrylate, polybutadiene terminal diacrylate or the like can be used.
