Abstract:
In non-contact power transmission system (10), power transmission device (11) includes oscillation controller (13) that makes power transmission coil (L1) perform the continuous oscillation or the intermittent oscillation, and current detector (R7) that outputs a detection value according to a current flowing in power transmission coil (L1). Power reception device (12) includes switch units (SW1, SW2) that sets power reception coil (L2) to a conductive state or a non-conductive state, and a switch controller (15). Switch controller (15) keeps power reception coil (L2) in the conductive state during one oscillation period of power transmission coil (L1), and keeps power reception coil (L2) in the non-conductive state during subsequent N oscillation periods of power transmission coil (L1). Oscillation controller (13) makes power transmission coil (L1) perform the continuous oscillation, when the detection value is equal to or above the threshold value during one oscillation period of power transmission coil (L1) and the detection value is less than the threshold value during at least one of the subsequent N oscillation periods of power transmission coil (L1). Accordingly, in a simple configuration, power transmission device (11) can correctly determine a power supply request from power reception device (12).
