Title:
NON-CONTACT IC CARD READER/WRITER TERMINAL WITH EVALUATION INPUT FUNCTION, AND SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012168593
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To establish a method of actualizing a method of allowing evaluation to be easily input without troubling nor spoiling convenience on settlement (payment) at low cost without greatly altering an existing electronic money system using a non-contact IC card.

Two optical sensors each for detecting a touch position are embedded in a region for reading the non-contact IC card so as to input evaluation depending upon a position where the non-contact IC card is touched. The position of the two optical sensors are so set that one of the sensors is shielded by the IC card from light and the other sensor still receives the light, depending upon the position of the card during the touch. Further, one terminal is controlled to be seen virtually as two terminals and made to operate as if settlement were completed with different terminals by changing the position of the touch according to an evaluation value.
