Abstract:
To provide a non-iron molten metal heater enabling a heating element to be easily contained in a tube member.
A non-iron molten metal heater 1 includes a heating element 2 and a protector 4 mainly composed of ceramic. The protector has a heating element container 11 containing the heating element 2, a supporter 13 containing a lead wire 3, and a bent portion 12 connecting the heating element container 11 and the supporter 13 to each other in such a manner as to intersect them and provided with a first opening 17 provided on an extension from the heating element container 11 to allow taking in/out the heating element 2, and a lid member 14 for closing the first opening 17.
